Roland S-550

In the analog domain the input are running through a limiter and then to a low pass filter with its knee tuned to 13.7 KHz. All the outputs have a analog low pass filter at 14.5 KHz.

All individual analog outputs are multiplexed with multiple NJU201AD C-MOS switches after a single monolithic DAC. Roland continued to cut cost like this thru the 80's as also seen in the U-220.
